It is well known that in the name of religion, there has been too many wars, too much blood shed, but at the same time, historically the strongest, wisest, and most progressive civilizations that astound us even today had a Deity. It is because of our deity, or deities, whatever the case may be, that we are the progressive society we are. And if people keep messing with that until we have no deities, that will be the end of our social order. Our believe in a deity is what spurs our quest to be the best that we can be. That makes each of us yen to make the world a better place. And this seems to be so, whether our deity be a sun god, a moon god, nature, or a Christian God. It is no benefit to anyone for authors, movie producers, or anyone else to mess with our deities.
